St. Albert Housing Society

The St. Albert Housing Society is fundraising for the construction and ongoing sustainability of our Family Support Program within the Big Lake Pointe development. The program is designed to provide a hand-up to single-parent families who face the challenge of paying the rent or feeding the kids.

The Family Support Program offers rental housing and support for families with modest incomes. Qualifying families will pay no more than 30% of their income towards rent. The Society is partnering with local agencies to provide supportive services, thus improving self-sufficiency and long term outcomes.

Rental units for the program will be                                                                                                                                            included in the Big Lake Pointe Housing                                                                                                                 development targeted for completion by early 2013.

Our goal is to raise $500,000 to build and sustain the Family Support Program.
