Join us for the St. Albert Housing Society’s 15th Annual Fundraiser, hosted by Josh Classen, meteorologist with CTV Edmonton, and featuring special guest speaker Howard Lawrence.

The St. Albert Housing Society provides a vital service in St. Albert for individuals and families who face the challenges of securing safe and affordable rental housing. This year’s luncheon will raise funds to directly support our HOMEconnection Program—a short-term bridging program that helps individuals and families facing financial barriers to stable affordable housing remain in their homes or transition into safe, affordable homes with the support they need to build a more sustainable future.

Your participation will ensure more families can remain in St. Albert and build a strong sense of community.

Howard Lawrence | Guest Speaker
Howard consults on neighbourhood health across North America and is employed with the City of Edmonton’s Neighbourhoods Section.He is co-founder, with the City of Edmonton, John McKnight and Peter Block, of the Abundant Community Initiative, assisting municipalities in refining their approaches to Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD).In his own neighbourhood of Highlands in Edmonton, Howard has worked with other leaders and connectors to create a welcoming neighbourhood through initiatives including Connected Highlands and At Home in Highlands.Howard continues to work collaboratively with the ABCD Institute to find ways to enable neighbourhoods to “collectively envision and produce their preferred futures.”

Event Host Josh Classen, CTV Edmonton's Chief Meteorologist since 2003, is a Lloydminster native and NAIT graduate who also earned a Meteorology degree from Mississippi State University. Known for his trusted weather forecasts and community involvement, Josh hosts charity events and educates future forecasters through his "Weather Watchers" program, earning numerous local accolades, including Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40.
